STB Emulator Setup
Emulate MAG set-top boxes on Android devices
STB Emulator is a popular application that allows you to emulate MAG set-top boxes on Android devices such as Android TV, TV boxes, and smartphones. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up your IPTV subscription using STB Emulator.
Download and Install STB Emulator
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device and search for STB Emulator. Download and install the application, then open it.
⚠️ Important:
Once the app loads, you will see a MAC address displayed on the screen. This MAC address is important, as it is used to activate your subscription. Make sure it matches the one provided or registered in your activation email.
Open Settings
Tap near the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings (the 4th icon from the right). This will open the configuration menu where you can manage profiles and portal settings.
Configure Profiles
Inside Settings, tap on Profiles.
Select Test Portal to modify the existing profile
Or tap Add Profile if you want to create a new one
Both options work the same way for setup.
Select STB Model
Tap on STB Model and choose MAG 250, or another MAG model if required.
💡 Recommended: MAG 250 is the most commonly recommended option and works well with most IPTV services.
Enter Portal Settings
Next, tap on Portal Settings. Enter your Portal URL, which can be found in your activation email or subscription details.
After entering the URL, click OK to save.
Set Screen Resolution
Tap on Screen Resolution and select 1280 × 720.
If your internet speed is 16 Mbps or higher, you may choose a higher resolution for better picture quality.
Restart the App
Exit the STB Emulator app completely and restart it. After restarting, the app will connect to the portal and load your channel list.
Once loading is complete, you can begin watching live TV and other available content.
